Players earn and level up badges for achieving specific skill benchmarks (achievements) within a Playstyle. E.g. To receive an “Artist Badge,” players must successfully execute 2 skills beating an opponent or to retain control of the ball in a scrimmage, plus also be able to juggle 4 times during class. To level up the badge, the challenge level of the tasks increase. This system mimics video game leveling, and character creation, providing tangible goals, customization, and dopamine-reward feedback loops for the digital age.
Playstyles are the different archetypes that players can embody based on their habits: Artist = Creative player, Sniper = Will powered finisher, Enforcer = Tough defender etc.
Absolutely not. Over 13 years of work developing teams and players of many levels and skill abilities has gone into developing this system. Our primary objective is for kids to achieve efficient growth which we take seriously. Development of this system is extremely well thought out, and built off a deep understanding regarding the short and long-term effects of differing models on child psychology, cognition, technical skill proficiency, tactical comprehension, and overall footballing ability.
Our school primarily operates out of House of Elite in Maple Grove.
